Aromatherapy Licensing

The Commission has established regulations for the licensure of aromatherapy based on feedback from attorneys, educational organizations offering courses in aromatherapy, certification board executives, governmental regulatory agencies, professional aromateerapists, existing licensing boards and legislators.

At the present time the Commission is accepting applications from aromatherapists who have completed a clinical aromatherapy course of study offered by any accredited educational organization. Candidates will be assigned an aromatherapy coach to assist them with completing the requirements for licensure.
