The License Commission Boards

The License Commission works closely with the existing license boards, govenor's office and legislature to create a license board within the state for the licenses the state decides to outsource to the License Commission.

History

The License Commission has been licensing professionals in the listed professions for the past five years. These licenses were issued by The License Commission on a state-by-state bases but were valid in all fifty states. A separate board controlled the issuance of each license.

The decision was made effective October 1, 2011 to cease and desist issuing proprietary licenses because several states indicated an interest in oursourcing their state licensing in these professions. The License Commission will not renew any outstanding licenses effective 10-01-2011.

The professionals previously licensed by The License Commission will be asked to serve on the license advisory board for their state if and when their state outsources this licensing to The License Commission.
